Lock FAQs

What types of bike lock do you stock?

We stock On Guard locks in three styles: cable locks (Doberman 8028 and 8029), an armoured cable lock (Rottweiler 8025) and D-locks (Bulldog LS 8009 and the Neons D-Lock).

What is the difference between a cable lock and a D-lock?

A cable lock is a flexible cable you can loop around a frame and a fixed object. A D-lock has a rigid steel shackle. Cable locks are lighter to carry, while a D-lock gives you a stiffer lock. Pick the style that suits where and how you park.

What size are the cable locks?

The Doberman 8029 and 8028 are both listed as 185cm self-coiling cables, and both come with a carry bracket. The 8029 is 10mm thick. The 8028 description gives both 12mm and 10mm, so check the product page for the thickness.

Do the locks come with keys?

The Doberman, Rottweiler and Bulldog listings mention five laser-cut keys, one with a micro LED. The Neons D-Lock lists a bracket and two keys. Check the product page for what is included.

What colours does the Neons D-Lock come in?

The Neons D-Lock comes in black, green and blue. Choose your colour from the drop-down on the product page.
