Race BMX tyre FAQs

What tyre pressure should I run for race BMX?

Most riders run 60 to 100 PSI depending on weight and track surface. Go harder for dry, grippy tracks and softer for loose surfaces. Never exceed the sidewall maximum.

Folding bead or wire bead?

A folding bead is lighter and folds flat. A wire bead is a little heavier. Check the product page to see which version a tyre comes in.

Can you fit tyres for me?

Our mobile workshop in Southampton can fit tyres. Ask us before you order and we will tell you what is involved.

How fast is delivery on supplier-stock items?

Some items are available from the supplier rather than held in stock. Delivery times can differ, so ask us before you order if timing matters.
