Introducing the latest innovation from our brand, the IRC SX. Designed and developed in France specifically for riders who are constantly pushing their limits and delivering big WATTS, this version is tailored to meet their needs. The IRC SX offers a solution to recurring problems that riders have faced for years, including hard spots, chain tension issues, and the hassle of changing the crown without disturbing the rear wheel.
We understand the importance of precision and efficiency when it comes to cycling, which is why we have designed the IRC SX to be compatible with traditional 10mm frame dropouts. With the supplied 10-15mm adapters, you can easily mount wheels with 15 or 10mm axles. The IRC SX System features a longer cage fixed on a CNC stainless steel axle, articulated using two annular bearings and a stainless steel spring. This creates a permanent tension on the chain, ensuring a smooth and seamless ride.
Our goal is to provide optimal performance and ease of use for riders, which is why the IRC SX offers adjustable lateral chain tensioning. This is achieved through the derailleur wheel, mounted on an annular bearing and stainless steel axle, and the Teflon roller, which provides fluidity and reduces resistance while pedaling. The chain line can be easily adjusted at the derailleur and Teflon roller, with the assembly mounted on stainless steel axles for precise lateral adjustment. Once the optimal adjustment is achieved, simply lock the position of the axle with a 4mm screw in the cage.
Say goodbye to hard spots caused by crown, pinion, or crankset defects. The IRC SX's spring-mounted cage automatically corrects any imperfections in the machining of your transmission parts. And with the ability to change the crown without removing the rear wheel, you can easily make adjustments during training or races without wasting precious time.
Our dedication to quality and performance is evident in every aspect of the IRC SX. Each component is designed with durability and precision in mind, including the 11-tooth aluminum derailleur pulley, Teflon roller, and CNC body/yoke junction axles in Z15Cn17 stainless steel. The tension spring and derailleur pulley axle are also made of heat-treated stainless steel. For those who need to switch between 15mm and 10mm axles, the package includes a CNC aluminum adapter.
Weighing in at only 175g with both the right and left tensioners, the IRC SX is the perfect balance of lightweight and durable. Please note that our system is not compatible with 1/8' chains. Experience the power and precision of the IRC SX, the ultimate upgrade for riders who demand the best.
This innovation was designed in France to solve recurring problems that Riders have been facing for many years (hard point, chain tension and crown change without disturbing the rear wheel). IRC type l: For traditional Ø15 or 10 mm frame dropouts, to mount wheels in 15 or 10 mm axle when using the 10-15mm adapters supplied with the IRC. The I.R.C System creates a permanent tension on the chain thanks to the clevis which is fixed on a CNC stainless steel axis, articulated using two annular bearings and a stainless steel spring. The tension is exerted on the chain via a derailleur wheel (also mounted on an annular bearing and a stainless steel axle), which allows great fluidity and reduced resistance during pedaling. Chainline adjustment is made at the derailleur pulley. Being mounted on an axle, precise lateral adjustment is possible. Once the adjustment is optimal, the position of the axis is locked via a 4mm intra-screw in the clevis. The advantages offered by the IRC: 1. No more hard spots (caused either by the crown, the pinion or the crankset): in fact, the yoke is mounted on a spring, automatically correcting any defects in the machining of your transmission parts . 2. Changing the sprocket without removing the rear wheel, which is very practical during training or races: it will only take you 2 minutes of manipulation and will save you precious time. ? **/!\WARNING/!\** Changing the sprocket without removing the rear wheel is only possible for young, low-powered riders (-13 years old). It will be necessary to provide a strong tension of the system for the tallest, adjustment which will prevent the change of crown quickly because implying to modify the length of chain beforehand![]()
